Apartment is excellent for extended stay - central for tourism and business. Excellent neighborhood with all conveniences, transport and good restaurants steps away.

Una ottima scelta nel cuore di Roma per una vacanza di una settimana in un appartamento confortevole, silenzioso, con tutto il necessario, e molto pulito. Da consigliare soprattutto per la vicinanza alle più belle attrazioni monumentali di Roma (a piedi in pochi minuti). Per i più pigri c'è la metro Lepanto o la fermata bus molto comodi. E poi che dire dell'accoglienza dell'Host Giovanni? Persona disponibile, gentile e ci ha consigliato come muoverci, indicandoci punti di ristoro, supermercati, ecc. tutti nelle immediate vicinanze. Ci ha inoltre messo a disposizione un servizio privato molto efficiente da e per aeroporto. Cosa volere di più? Infine per completare le cinque stelle meritate, va considerato il Quartiere sicuro e tranquillo anche nelle ore notturne. Insomma: una vacanza perfetta! E allora, alla prossima...

In January 2024 we stayed at Casa Visconti. Positive points: the owner responded quickly to our email/phone calls and was very kind. The apartment is located on the 4th floor of an old building with an antique elevator dating back to the 1920s (!), which works perfectly; from the balcony you can see the dome of St. Peter's Basilica. It was clean and warm there. Convenient location (near the Vatican and many other attractions. Travelers, get ready that in Rome you will not only have to walk a lot, but a LOT of walking!!!). There are many grocery stores, cafes, restaurants around, the nearest metro stop is Lepanto. My only wish is to replace the one-cup teapot with at least a 3-cup teapot. There were three of us, so to drink tea/coffee we had to heat the kettle 3 times. I highly recommend Casa Visconti for a stay in Rome. And if we decide to visit this wonderful city again, we will definitely stay at Casa Visconti.

There was no food in our agreement. We just rented the house. However, since it was in a central location, there were many markets and restaurants. San Marco, just around the corner from the house, makes very delicious pizzas. When you look from the balcony, you can see the dome of San Pietro. With a 5-minute walk, it is possible to go to the Vatican and the nearby Castel Castel Sant'Angelo. Apart from this, historical places such as Trevi, Patheon and Novona Square are also within walking distance. The owner, Giovanni, introduced the house and the surroundings very well.

Anlaşmamızda yemek yoktu. Sadece evi kiraladık. Fakat merkezi bir konumda olduğu için market ve restoran imkanı çoktu. Evin hemen köşesindeki San Marco oldukça lezzetli pizzalar yapıyor. Balkondan bakınca San Pietro'nun kubbesini görebiliyorsunuz. 5 dakikalık bir yürüyüşle, Vatikan ve hemen yakınındaki Castel castel sant'angelo'ya gitmek mümkün. Bunun dışında Trevi, Patheon, Novona Meydanı gibi tarihi mekanlar da yürüme mesafesinde. Ev sahibi Giovanni, evi ve çevreyi oldukça iyi tanıttı.

Giovanni is an amazing host. Professional, helpful, very responsive and good communicator. Apartment is very clean and just as pictured. Lovely location.

It's in a 100 year old building it was clean had washer dishwasher considering the age of the building. It has a cool elevator. Apartment has lots of storage Good location quiet neighborhood lots of restaurants, market. Giovanni was great very responsive.

We only stayed one night at this well situated apartment. It was exactly as advertised and the host was very helpful in making our way from the airport and with check in.

Giovanni met us in person during check in and showed us the nearby places and ATM locations. It was really helpful for us since this is the 1st time we are in Rome. This is a perfect place for us - walking distance to Vatican city and a lot of other attractions.

There isv excellent gelato steps away from the place as well espresso, restaurants and a grocery store. Pour la deuxième fois à Casa Visconti mais dans l'appartement San Pietro. Idéal pour 2 (3 personnes en utilisant le canapé-lit du séjour). Beaux volumes de l'ancien restauré, fonctionnel, très propre, double vitrage, climatisation et tout ce qu'il faut pour s'y sentir bien ! Quartier Prati parfait pour rayonner, avec métro/bus, cafés, restaurants et petits commerces de bouche à proximité. Giovanni est un modèle d'empathie et de gentillesse, aux petits soins avant et pendant le séjour. Une adresse magnifique !

It was amazing!

My wife and I stayed 4 nights in Giovanni’s one bedroom apartment during mid June 2023. The apartment was air conditioned and had good WiFi. The location was wonderful. There were great restaurants all around us. The best for dinner and lunch was Visconti 2.0. Plenty of breakfast places were also close by. The apartment was a couple of blocks from Vatican City and a 10 minute walk to Piazza Navona with all of excitement there. We will stay there next time we visit Rome.

Casa Visconti was a great place to stay in while visiting Rome. Walkable spot to all the main monuments and Piazza's throughout Rome along with great restaurants and Cafe's right below the apartment. Room was clean and had AC which in June/July was much appreciated. All in all a great stay, will be back next time in Rome.

This place is perfectly appointed, close enough to touristy stuff but far enough to not deal with the crowds and noise. Giovanni met us at the apartment, walked us through and showed us how things worked, gave us recommendations on where to eat and was easily accessible. The apartment was clean and comfortable and well stocked with amenities. Close to the market and great places to eat. We would stay here again.

Casa Visconti exceded all my expectations. Giovanni contacted us from the very beggining, to make everything easier for us. The location is extraordinary. Walking distance to the Vatican, ancient Rome, Taxi and Bus stop, nice restaurants, Pharmacy and supermarket. Everything we needed was within steps from Casa Visconti. The apartament was clean, confortable and very safe. Giovanni is very helpful. I will definitively book Casa Visconti for my next vacacion in Rome.

It was a short three day stay. Location was very good with access to transportation to the Colosseum, and in walking distance of the Vatican. That being said, there was a washer, but no dryer. Also, if you’re going to stay there, make sure you bring paper goods. There were no tissues or paper towels, and very little toilet paper. So, as much as I do recommend a stay here, you must do all your shopping before settling in. Kitchen has all essentials. A nice street life view from the balcony.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed. A grocery store, excellent restaurants, and cafes were nearby. Very quiet neighborhood. Close enough to walk to most attractions and not far from the Metro station. Giovanni was most helpful arranging a private driver from the airport and recommending places to eat. Highly recommend!

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage in dem Apartment und in Rom. Das Apartment hält alles, was es verspricht: eine gut ausgestattete Küche, ein nettes Wohnzimmer mit Mini-Balkon Richtung Süden, ein geräumiges Schlafzimmer mit gutem Bett und ein sauberes Bad. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Für den gelegentlichen Lärm abends von der Bar gegenüber sollte man Ohrenstöpsel dabei haben. Wir haben teilweise auch vom Apartment aus gearbeitet: das WLAN funktioniert sehr gut! Insgesamt eine sehr gute Bleibe für alle, die Gehdistanz zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten bevorzugen, die eine perfekte Infrastruktur zu Selbstversorgung brauchen oder die von unterwegs aus arbeiten wollen.

The owner met us at the apartment. He was welcoming and gave us all the necessary information of the neighborhood. The apartment is in a strategic location. It is close to the main tourist attractions but not in the middle of a crowded area full of tourists. The area is full of fantastic restaurants.

Giovanni was great to deal with. Excellent communication from original booking through to end of stay. He gave us a good rundown on the local restaurants and stores and arranged a ride to the airport at a good price. The apartment is in a nice part of the city. Quiet and safe with some convenient restaurants and food stores. Walking distance to all of the main tourist sites. Apartment is spacious for the two of us and well equipped. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

From our earliest communication with Giovanni to our check out procedures, we were very well taken care of! If you are looking to stay just a bit away from the crowds, this is the perfect place. Walkable to all the tourist sites, and lovely out of the way gems as well, this apartment in the Prati neighborhood is great. Giovanni is a most responsive host, and the apartment, while not luxurious, is well appointed, comfortable and affordable. The artwork in the apt. makes it truly special. Live like a Roman in this lovely, lively neighborhood, where there are wonderful restaurants, cafes and shops all around, and it is a short 10 minute walk to Piazza Navona. I stayed for two weeks and was very happy with the accommodations and the neighborhood! Giovanni arranged airport transportation for us, so that was seamless as well. Grazie!

We rented a very nice and very well located appartement near by Vatikan. Giovanni is a very friendly landlord and he supported us in all our questions. We could find the most important monuments by feet. Very typical Restaurants are located in the streets around the appartement. Rome forever!

We loved this beautiful apartment in Rome. We wanted a traditional apartment in a friendly neighborhood that featured lots of restaurants and shopping and this was the perfect place. Giovanni was so helpful and met us upon our arrival and checked in during our two night stay. The apartment was very clean and had at least 12 (maybe 14) foot high ceilings, a beautiful entry way and one of those old two door elevators that took us to our fourth floor flat. Bed was comfortable, shower was great and it was nice to have a little balcony to poke your head out to either check the weather or enjoy the view. The neighborhood, which was close to the Vatican, had some really great restaurants and shopping but you weren't stuck in the middle of the tourist area. It was quiet but had lots of shops, bars and cafes to drop into. We felt like we were a local for those few days and loved it! We would definitely recommend this property.

Due to flight cancelations we were unable to stay but Giovanni was amazing in his communication every time we had to change our arrival. Hope to get a chance to try again in the future. I didnt want to leave it blank. I have never left a review however if the place is half as good as Giovanni you will not be disappointed.

Casa Visconti has two spacious, very well equipped and tastefully furnished apartments and is close to many of the main tourist sights but, crucially, is west of the Tiber in the stylish district of Prati, so free of much of the bustle and crowding in the centre. Giovanni is a pleasant, helpful and efficient host, and prices are very reasonable.

The location of the apartment is really cool, it is an elegant local living and working zone, with lovely restaurants and cafes. We can reach most of the city attractions on foot and really enjoyed the evening walk also. Govanni is super helpful and kind which made our stay an excellent one. The apartment is much more spacious and in better condition than the pictures show. There is a heating system in the apartment and it kept us warm during these spring evenings.(which we were worried about since we did not see it in the pictures) .

Our stay in Rome with Giovanni was superb. The place was breathtaking and Giovanni was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The location is very convenient as well. Will certainly recommend to others.

I stay in various hotels and apartments, but it was very comfortable here. The apartments are bright, every room has windows, the location is great, the security is good, the nights are quiet, the supermarket Coop, the restaurant and the cake shop are close by. I had everything I needed in the kitchen and I was able to cook without any problems. It was a shower that I could use with peace of mind, and the heating was warm, not the shower where the water temperature was not fixed as I had experienced several times in an Italian apartment. Giovanni was a kind and friendly person who could get in touch with us immediately and help us.

Accueil cordial, Giovanni était à l'heure pour nous donner les informations utiles. L'appartement est bien situé, propre et spacieux. La rue est un peu bruyante. (centre-ville oblige:) ) L'ensemble pour moi ressemble plus à un appart/hôtel équipé qu'à un appartement où les voyageurs se laissent le poivre et l'huile. Là tout est remis à blanc. Merci Giovanni pour ton professionnalisme. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, nous avons pu tout faire à pied car très bien situé.

Appartement bien situé, dans un bel immeuble ancien, à proximité du Vatican et permettant d'accéder facilement à pied au centre historique. Le quartier est riche de petits commerces, de cafés (pratiques pour un petit-déjeuner au comptoir à l'italienne avant une journée de visites) et de restaurants. Giovanni nous a très bien accueillis pour nous montrer le quartier et l'appartement. Nous y étions à l'automne, fenêtres fermées l'appartement est très calme malgré un bar en face, en été la climatisation (présente) est sans doute nécessaire. Un très bon séjour !

Giovanni e la moglie sono persone gentilissimi e disponibilissimi, ci hanno accolto molto bene, ci hanno spiegato tutto nei minimi dettagli e ci hanno assistito in tutto il soggiorno. Appartamento molto bello e pulitissimo, con tutti i confort, zona Prati, una delle più belle della città, vicinissimo al Vaticano e comodissimo ai taxi, supermercati, banche e ristoranti. Quando torneremo a Roma di sicuro riandremo da Giovanni. Molto consigliato!!!

Yes, we had a great stay at Casa Visconti! Being sensitive to noise, we were especially glad for the perfectly sound-proof window in the bedroom, and the possibility to adjust the air conditionning in both rooms separately -- given for example the football match on Wednesday that was celebrated in the bar across the street. This way, we were able to cool down the bedroom in the evening and then sleep with the window closed. The window in the bedroom cannot be made completely dark -- this might be inconvenient for someone who relies on this to sleep well. The kitchen had all we needed (and much more). Due to our inexperience with the microwave oven, unfortunately we heated a meal too long and too intensively, leading to the stains on the plate. We were missing only one minor thing: a cloak hook near the apartment door to hang our jackets on.

Apartment was clean, bright, well equiped and very secure. Excellent restaurants, shops, cafes and foodie stores within 100 yards in every direction. Taxis and bus and Metro all within a very short walk to reach all business and tourist destinations. Highly recommended.

Appartamento in zona centrale a pochi minuti da Castel Sant'Angelo e situato in un bel palazzo signorile. Super sicuro perche' per accedere all'appartamento ci sono vari ingressi! Molto pulito e accessoriato, comodo anche per 4 persone, decisamente consigliatissimo. Giovanni e' stato molto gentile e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni all'arrivo, ci ha permesso un late check out il giorno che siamo partiti e questo ci ha fatto veramente comodo. grazie di tutto, lo consiglieremo!

This is the perfect location to see Rome. We were within walking distance to most attractions (the colosseum being the farthest away). We were close to great restaurants just feet from the apartment. There are bus stops just a street over on Cicerone and a great Tabacchi there as well with wonderful coffee and pastries to start your day. Giovanni was excellent! He met us at the apartment and went over everything with us. He was so warm and friendly. We genuinely appreciated his hospitality. Definitely a place we will return to!

Condominium is so nice and clean , and not noisy in spite of convenience place. Around the condominium is nice, too. Near by bus stop to the airport and there are many shops and nice restaurants and cafes. Giovanni is so beautiful person. He explained how to use a key and elevator kindly . I recommend this accommodation from bottom of my heart.

La casa Visconti es muy confortable y bonita. Dormitorio fantástico. Cocina completa. Barrio agradable y de época, con supermercados, tiendas, metro... Situada estratégicamente, lo más lejano es el coliseo, a todo lo demás se puede llegar caminando entre 10' y 20'. Giovanni, muy profesinal, proporciona informaciones completas y útiles. Volveríamos sin dudar.

В апартаментах есть все необходимое для проживания: микроволновка, посудомоечная и стиральная машина (включая моющие средства к ним), полотенца, фен. Очень удобно добираться из аэропорта на шаттле (sitshuttle) остановка находится в 5 мин ходьбы. До основных достопримечательностей рукой подать: замок Sant'Angelo (10мин), Basilica di Ss Pietro e Paolo, piazza Navona, piazza del popolo, piazza di Spagna (15-20 мин). Все очень близко и нам с коляской было удобно. Если мы когда-нибудь еще вернемся в Рим, то обязательно остановимся в Casa Visconti.

Bellissimo appartamento a poca distanza dall'attrazzioni turistiche principali di Roma. Siamo stati in decembre 2018 con piccolo bambino. Giovanni e' il padrone di casa molto cordiale che e' stato sempre a nostra disposizione a qualsiasi cosa necessaria. Ci ha incontrato, ha consigliato I posti dove si puo' mangiare piatti tipici romani a buon prezzo, dove comprare I generi alimentari ecc. Nell'appartamento c'e' tutto necessario per il soggiorno: il forno a microonde, la lavastoviglie, l'asciugacapelli, l'asciugamani. E molto comodo raggiungere l'appartamento dall'aeroporto con il sitshuttle la fermata del quale si trova a distanza di 5 min a piedi. Tutti attrazzioni turistiche principali sono molto vicini: castel Sant'Angelo (10 min), Basilica di Ss Pietro e Paolo, piazza Navona, piazza del Popolo, piazza di Spagna (15-20 min). Tutto molto vicino e comodo raggiungere con il passeggino. Se torneremo mai a Roma sceglieremo senz'altro la casa Visconti.

L'appartamento è pulito, accogliente e ha tutto il necessario. Giovanni gentilissimo, ottima accoglienza. Сomoda posizione per visitare Città del Vaticano e Castel Sant'Angelo. Piazza Navona è a 15 minuti a piedi. Tra l'altro, c’è anche il negozio di alimentari situato a pochi passi. Si potrebbe anche mettere una macchina del caffè con cialde.

Alloggio molto curato e pulito, perfetto per coppie o famiglie che vogliono visitare Roma e vivere al centro, in uno dei quartieri più belli ad affascinanti. La via, centralissima, offre tutti i servizi immaginabili e le principali attrazioni (Piazza Cavour, Vaticano e Piazza del Popolo..) si trovano a pochi passi dall'abitazione. Consigliatissimo!

Исторический центр Рима- близко от метро, Ватикан виден из окна (купол собора св. Петра), другие достопримечательности. Античная часть Рима в пешей доступности. Очень близко супермаркет и пиццерия (правда хорошая).

We absolutely were spoiled in this spacious flat in up and coming Prati. The location was perfect with access to the Metro and the bus just a short walk from the front door. Quaint local neighborhood which we loved bc you feel like you get to “live as the romans do”. Authentic restaurants and friendly locals who try to accommodate our bad Italian vocabulary. Giovanni met us at the door and explained to us the features of the apartment and local places to see. Kitchen was just great though we o my used glasses for wine but you could cook if you wanted to. If you’re looking for a VRBO in Rome.... look no further. I’m a bit of a hotel snob and this was first VRBO and it set the bar high! Giovanni even arranged for a car to pick us up to take us to the airport for our flight to Paris.... at 3:30 am. He was always responsive to email and texts. Absolutely wonderful. I suggest taking the Roman food tour of Prati as well (trionfale) it was by far the most delicious food experience we had in Rome.

The apartment was much larger than we expected. It was a nice change from most of the other accommodations we had during our 3-week vacation in Europe. It is very well-maintained and has many amenities, including a clothes washer, which was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

This centrally located and beautifully furnished flat provided a wonderful launch point for our all-too-short stay in Rome. Giovanni was gracious, punctual, and oriented us to his apartment and the neighborhood. The apartment had everything we needed--a tricky shower curtain is the only thing that could be improved. We will definitely reach out to Giovanni on our next trip to Rome.

We had a wonderful time in Rome. The apartment was well-maintained and clean and modern and safe. There are plenty of restaurants around to choose from and the Vatican was within walking distance. Metro line was easily accessible and there were two groceries right around the corner. It was a little longer walk to get to the Colosseum and the forum which we did do and then took the metro back. But if someone didn’t want to walk it, they could take the metro both ways as it was very easy to do. The pantheon is very close just across the river and quite a few outdoor cafés there in that area as well which we did on our last day.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending 10 days in this fantastic apartment. The location is perfect. We walked to the key attractions (Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc etc) and were in the middle of a vibrant neighbourhood filled with great restaurants and shopping. While we enjoy walking so we did not need to use the public transit system, it is readily available to those who choose to use it. The place is exactly as advertised on the website. It is clean and efficient and Giovanni is very helpful in making sure you get the most of your stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to capture the essence of Rome. The free one hour Skype session with a tour guide/travel agent is also very useful as you get the opportunity to plan your stay with someone who understands the city and the attractions. If we return to Rome again, we will be sure to look up Giovanni again. Enzo

The apartment is in an excellent location and great neighborhood with wonderful restaurants nearby. It was nice to come back and relax in comfort after a long day of sightseeing. Convenient to all sights without the hustle and bustle of constant crowds. Perfect to have breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening. The apartment offered security and a close walk to most sights. The washing machine was a plus. I would definitely stay in this apartment if our travels took us back to beautiful Rome.

For us, Casa Visconti has been the perfect location to explore and enjoy the city while also being able to get a small taste of the local Rome. The flat is conveniently located in the heart of Rome but far enough from its center to offer a quiet and recreative base camp for exploring the city. In close proximity (a few minutes walking distance) to the flat you can find not only Saint Angelo's castle and the vatican but also a multitude of small restaurants and shops. These are primarily frequented by locals, offering good value-for-money and a less hectic, non-touristy flair. The flat itself is spacious, light-flooded and very well maintained. The temperature can be easily controlled to one's liking: high ceilings, tiled flooring and external shutters provide cooling during the summer heat (together with an AC) while heaters in all rooms keep the the temperature comfortably during cold periods. From firsthand experience we can attest that there is also no issue with plumbing, heating or conduits: we did visit Rome during the last rare cold snap and (surprise) snow there and while a lot of other houses in the city center suffered from frozen water pipes and broken-down heating we always had a cozily warm and well maintained flat to return to. The kitchenette offers the basic amenities including hot plates, microwave and dishwasher. As we had been keen on exploring the local cuisine, we did not make too much use of it for cooking, though. We did enjoy our stay to the fullest and highly recommend Casa Visconti.

It was the best value for money for our period in the city, we wasn't unsatisfied with the apartments. You should pay the security deposit 150€, which would be returned, and the city tax 3,5€ per 1 person per night. The cleaning of apartments is already included in the price. The location is 10/10, it is 10-15 min to the Vaticano and to the center on foot, through the magnificent steets of Rome. The apartments are fully equiped: all the necessary dishes, griddles, pans etc. Giovanni has left for us a tablet for the dishwasher for the first time, as well as for the washing mashine and a bit of shampoo. There are 3 towels for each person. The heating was very good. You can ask to prepare for you 2 single beds in a living room. Giovanni deserves special attention. He was very kind, always ready to help you. Giovanni showed us some restaurants and shops nearby, you can also find Carrefour Express, which is 10 min on foot from the apartments near Saint Angel Castle. The big advantage of apartments is closeness to SIT bus shuttle from FCO airport terminal 3. It stops at via Crescenzio just 5 min from apartments. It was very convinient to get there and back to the airport by this shuttle bus. Our stay was great

Working with you was easy! You responded quickly, gave good advice, checked in with us, and were helpful with transportation. The apartment was pleasant, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The neighborhood was safe and had restaurants, shops and groceries nearby. The very best part was how easy it was to walk where we wanted to go. We only took an Uber twice- once because it was raining and we didn’t want to get too wet walking to the Vatican and once because we had a morning tour at the Colosseum and weren’t sure how long it would take to walk there. We were able to walk home from both locations. If ever I find myself in Rome again, I would love to stay again!

I had to do a little coaxing to get my husband to skip the hotel accommodations (known) and utilize VRBO (unknown). He was glad we did! The location could not have been more perfect. Felt like we were among locals and away from tourists, but walked to everything - Vatican, Borghese Gallery, Colloseum (a litttle hike but fine). Grocery, shopping, restaurants, etc all within 2-4 minute walk. We never used any form of transportation other than foot the entire week - except for transport to/from airport. I arrived 2 days before my husband and always felt very safe and comfortable with the surroundings. The apartment was comfortable and pleasant, and had everything we needed. Giovanni was wonderful, helpful and available quickly if needed. We had an issue with shower drain on first day. He was in/out promptly and repaired while we were enjoying the city. He also arranged car service to/from airport for us, prompt/professional drivers - worth the euros. If you are expecting over the top luxurious furnishings, you will be disappointed, but the apartment is quaintly furnished and was perfect for us. We enjoyed stepping out on the balcony each morning/evening to watch life happen below. We purchased bread, salami, cheese and wine at local grocery around corner and would enjoy as we recapped each day. The washer allows for lighter packing, as you can wash and line dry clothes during your stay. Also, be certain to ask for an orientation of the coffee pot. It is traditional Italian coffee, delicious, but different from a Keurig. Once you master the morning coffee, there is Bialetti store around the corner for your sourvenir, or order from Amazon so it is waiting for you upon your arrival home. This apartment made our trip to Rome complete, as it was exactly what we needed. Giovanni was exceptional in preparing us prior to our arrival. He met me at apartment, graciously gave me an orientation and was readily available throughout the stay. The apartment had all we needed, furnishings were not over the top but perfectly satisfying, with a clean, comfortable offering. The location could not have been better. We toured all major attractions by foot and never needed public transportation until we headed to the airport, which Giovanni helped arrange for a 4:30 am pick up. The shower was slow to drain, and a morning call to Giovanni had the item repaired before we arrived back mid afternoon. We will likely not stay anywhere else on our next trip to Rome. Perhaps we will need to book the larger/whole apartment, (3B/3b).

Case Visconti was Perfect! Giovanni could not have been a better host. We have been using VRBO for years and never met the owner until now. He made sure we were completely taken care of....from arranging our airport pickup and port drop off, to recommending local stores and restaurants and personally walking us through the apartment so we knew how everything worked. The apartment is easy waking to every popular tourist site and or the metro. We will definitely be back!

I just got back from staying in this appartment with my Mother for a week. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it to anyone. The location is perfect as it is in the slightly less touristy Prati area, but in walking distance to everything. There are shops on your doorstep from supermarkets to fruit and veg stalls,a bus stop just around the corner should you want to give your feet a rest and many restaurants and trattorias to chose from. The appartment was very comfortable with lots of space and all the amenities you would need including iron, hairdryer, washing machine and even a dishwasher. I slept in the very comfortable sofa bed in the sitting room, and my Mother used the main bedroom, which had a huge bed and plenty of storage space. Everything in the appartment was perfect and there is even a lift in the building which was very welcome after a day walking around Rome. The host Giovanni was wonderful, very helpful with advice of where things were in the neighbourhood and he always answered any questions we had quickly and was easy to reach. We spent a fantastic vacation at Casa Visconti. It has been our "home away form home" for a week in May 2017. The location is amazing and perfect to reach all the highlights of Rom. Casa Visconti is the perfect apartment for us. It is centrally located so it is only minutes away from all of Rome's famous sights. It is located in a nice neighborhood and is within a few steps of grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping streets. The apartment was even better than described in the listing. Perfectly clean, spacious, well-maintained and very comfortable and well furnished. We felt very safe with the concierge on duty daily. Everything that a traveler needs is there and working well - from wifi to iron and ironing board, and from coffee maker to refrigerator and washing machine, and from hair dryer to very comfortable bed, and from large refrigerator freezer to air conditioning. And, Giovanni is the perfect host - he is welcoming, friendly, helpful and anxious to provide assistance. We would recommend this property to anyone who is visiting Rome. We will stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

Джованни организовал трансфер из аэропорта и в аэропорт, встретил нас, рассказал про ближайшие магазины и рестораны и вообще был крайне внимателен к вопросам и просьбам. Апартаменты чистые и просторные, состояние техники и помещений прекрасное. Дом старый, с высокими потолками, со старым замечательным лифтом. Расположение очень удачное. Во-первых, близко к центру (10-15 минут пешком до площади Испании, Ватикана, виллы Боргезе), во-вторых, в отличие от центра, крайне тихо по ночам, в третьих, рядом станция метро, небольшой супермаркет, овощная лавка.

We spent one week in November in this apartments. Giovanni was extremely responsive to all our needs. The location of the apartment was great (10 minutes to many of the major tourist destinations), a supermarket and a grocery store are very nearby. The apartments was clean and had all necessary equipments.

My sister and I spent 5 nights in this very clean and spacious apartment and enjoyed it very much. Giovanni was extremely responsive to all my correspondence prior to arriving and was there to meet us with a smile when we arrived. The location of the apartment was great. Restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store are very nearby and we walked to many of the major tourist destinations (Borghese gallery, Forum, Colloseum, Vatican etc). The apartment had everything we needed and, although we never cooked a meal during our stay, it appeared to have the necessary equipment to do so if one is so inclined. My sister remarked that the large bed in the bedroom was the most comfortable bed we had during our 4 week stay in Italy but the sofa bed in the living room was a bit noisy (it squeaked every time I rolled over in bed) and was not particularly comfortable. And, like many showers in Europe, there was no shower curtain so the bathroom floor near the shower was a bit wet after showering. However, overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Visconti and found that this apartment was an excellent value.

Great location _ a quick walk to the metro, just a few blocks from Castel Sant'Angelo and an easy walk to the Vatican area; in a nice neighborhood with restaurants, grocery, fruit stand within a block or two. The apartment was very clean, fully equipped - though we did not use the kitchen - and the sofa/ bed in the living area was perfect for our daughter who accompanied us. The master bedroom was very spacious with plenty of closet and drawer space; the bathroom recently renovated. Giovanni could not have been nicer. He was very helpful in providing all kinds of information and was very accommodating. We would definitely go back to this apartment. PS - great elevator! Like the one in Charade with Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant.

The apartment was very clean and spacious with much higher ceilings than what appears in the picture. A balcony that looks out over the street. Many amenities - washer, dishwasher, small kitchen, air-conditioning, tv, and wifi. Giovanni was very friendly and was able to answer any questions we had. Cafes, gelato and restaurants within walking distance, and a short cab ride to the major destinations in the city. Would definitely recommend.

I loved the clean, well maintained flat and was very pleased by the location. It is close to the Vatican and the Tiber. The property is close to public transportation and taxi service. We enjoyed good restaurants and close markets. Giovanni gave us a good overview. My only negative comment is that there could have been more supplies like more paper towels, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and a small amount of food provisions for a short term renter. Overall, I was thrilled with the property.

We spent a week here and would definitely return. From start to finish, booking and staying with Giovanni was great. The one bedroom apartment is wonderful (large, comfortable and clean c/w kitchen & laundry), located in a lovely area called Prati, minutes from some of the best sites (Vatican & Castello Sant Angelo, Piazza Cavour) and many tasty restaurants. You can walk most anywhere, and we did ! Giovanni arranged for transport to and from the apartment and advised us on many particulars, even during our stay. There's also a fresh fruit market and a grocery store just around the corners, plus a great caffe to start your day. Vom buchen via Internet, chek in bis check out, alles ist freundlich, korrekt und perfekt organisiert. We had a fabulous time. The hotel apartment was everything we needed and more. The air conditioned apartment was just what we needed after a day of walikng throughout Rome. It was close enough to walk anywhere but quiet. Giovonni was very helpful to us. He is a fountain of information. He even arranged taxi to terminal for us. I would stay here again and recommend to all. We stayed in one bedroom apartment, but others have more room.

Wonderful apartment, very clean, completely equipped, and with elevator. Excellent location, close to Tiber River, and within walking distance of the old city and Vatican Museums. Great restaurants and ice cream parlors also within walking distance. GIovanni was incredibly helpful with taxis and transportation to and from the airport.

Casa Visconti was a great place to stay for our visit to Rome. The apartment had everything we needed. It is so nice to have space to relax after a long day visiting all of the sites. Before we arrived, Giovanni was very easy to work with and even made arrangements for a car service to/from the airport. When we arrived, he met us at the car and pointed out the local fruit shop, a couple of restaurants, where to get groceries, and the directions for the Vatican and the Metro. Fantastica la posizione, in un quartiere tranquillo ma comunque vicino a tutte le attrazioni più importanti, infatti in 5 giorni ci siamo mossi solo a piedi, funzionali gli spazi e l'arredamento dell'alloggio, simpatico e disponibile il proprietario. Quando torneremo a Roma, Casa Visconti sarà sicuramente la nostra prima scelta!!

We were very happy with the Casa Visconti small apartment. The location was excellent being so close to shops and restaurants. We liked the fact that we could (and did!) walk everywhere and we crammed a lot into our 3 days here. Giovanni organised our taxi transfer from the airport and met us at the apartment. He also carried our case up the 4 flights of stairs as the lift had broken down that day! The apartment was very comfortable, super clean and well equipped.

This charming, well equipped apartment is situated in a fantastic neighbourhood. Giovanni greeted us, gave us directions to local amenities, and made sure that we settled perfectly. His well designed website containing photos of the apartment and a wealth of additional information about Rome was very helpful. We spent six nights in Rome, finding the apt location close enough to walk to most sights but it is also convenient to buses and Metro. We would highly recommend staying in this apt and we would most definitely want to stay here again. Giovanni was also very helpful when we first contacted him concerning renting the apt. Had the pleasure of staying in this lovely property for a couple nights and were extremely pleased with our visit. Giovanni was great to work with and he ensured we had everything we needed for our stay plus offered us great suggestions. Located in a great neighbourhood walking distance to many of Rome's attractions and easy access to the metro system. Will definitely stay there again next time in Rome.

Als wir bei der Suche nach einer Ferienwohnung die Bilder betrachteten, waren wir zunächst sehr skeptisch, ob sie der Wirklichkeit standhalten würden. Die Wirklichkeit hat die Bilder übertroffen: Die Wohnung ist noch geräumiger als sie auf den Bildern wirkt, sie ist sehr geschmackvoll, ja fast schon elegant eingerichtet, war topsauber, ist ruhig und liegt absolut zentral. In der ersten unserer zwei Wochen haben wir fast alle unsere Ziele zu Fuß angesteuert. Piazza Popolo/Villa Borghese, Piazza Navona, Vatikan sind bequem, selbst das Kolosseum ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Und in der klimatisierten Wohnung kann man sich prima erholen. Da ganz in der Nähe der oberste italienische Gerichtshof liegt, ist das ganze Viertel vollgestopft mit Anwaltskanzleien; auch die Wohnung oben drüber und unten drunter sind Kanzleien, sodass es nachts entsprechend ruhig ist. Nicht zuletzt auch wegen der zahlreichen Kanzleien ist das Viertel gepflegt (gemessen an römischen Standards). Etwa 200 m entfernt gibt es einen Supermarkt mit Preisen leicht unter denen von Rewe. Das Haus macht einen großzügigen Eindruck: Vestibül mit Marmor und Concierge und ein nostalgischer Fahrstuhl zur Wohnung in den vierten Stock. Vom Balkon aus Blick auf die Kuppel von St. Peter. Großes Bett mit ausgezeichneter Matratze, sehr geräumiges Badezimmer. Hilfreich waren auch die Hilfestellungen von Giovanni (Transfer vom/zum Flughafen usw.). Die Wohnung war ein ausgesprochener Glücksgriff und wir werden sie allen unseren Verwandten und Bekannten ganz uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Angelika und Wolfgang

Eine helle, zweckmäßige Wohnung mit einem schönen und großem Bad. Die Lage der Wohnung ist für einen Rom-Besuch ideal. Alles kann problemlos fußläufig erreicht werden. 10 Gehminuten bis zur Engelsburg. Nach passieren der Brücke ist man schon in der Altstadt..Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten und können sie mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

We were given travel advice regarding the journey from the airport to the apartment, prior to the holiday. We were welcomed by the owner and we checked in easily, after a brief tour of the surrounding roads. The apartment was very clean, and in a very secure building. Central Rome was a short walk away, and there were lovely shops, restaurants and cafes along the way. Overall, the apartment was lovely and we would recommend it to those looking for a place to stay in Rome.

GIOVIANNI est charmant, un accueil convivial et souriant. Un appartement très propre avec tout le confort, machine à laver et lave vaisselle .Seul bémol, le bruit du bar dans la rue mais avec le double vitrage, ce n 'est pas trop important. Une localisation parfaite surtout pour le VATICAN mais les autres sites sont aussi accessibles à pied. .Nous n ' avons pris le métro que pour le COLISEE et cela peut se faire aussi en marchant tranquillement. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir à ROME et dans cet appartement. Un conseil , levez vous de bonne heure afin d ' éviter les files d 'attente ... Bon séjour aux prochains locataires et merci encore à Giovanni.

Casa Visconti is an excellent option, if you want to locate away from the noise and tourist scrum of Centro Storico. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, but you’re a block or two from very lively shopping, restaurants, and bars. Prati isn’t as picturesque as areas like Trastevere, but it’s not packed with tourists, either, and the pre-WWI apartment blocks and tree-lined streets are quite stately. Realistically (I don’t know why people always under-estimate walking times), it’s a 20-minute walk to the Vatican, 20 minutes to Piazza Navona, 7-8 minutes to the metro, and about 2 minutes to the bus-shuttle to Fiumicino. The apartment itself is clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the lift is a great help. It’s a very welcoming and restful place to return to at the end of the day. Otherwise, this is an exceptionally nice place to stay—not the ritz, but very comfortable. Giovanni was absolutely terrific. Very helpful, both over email and in person, and very easy to deal with. He made a special trip to the apartment to readjust the AC for me, and he was informative, friendly, and welcoming. There are good restaurants right nearby, but if you want a special treat, try Del Frate, about 6 blocks away. The chef is exceptionally good (artichoke flan in parmesan cream with crispy bacon; perfectly cooked black cod in a parsnip puree with baby beets—yum!!!), and the atmosphere is casually chic and intimate. I had my very best meal in Italy there. Reservations necessary on weekends. Favorite restaurants in Centro Storico: Da Geno (in a tiny alley, somewhat hard to find; try the house specialties: tonnarelli ciociara and saltimbocca alla romano); Emma Pizzaria con Cucina; and Enoteca Corsi for lunch. Definitely book ahead online for the Colosseum & Forum, Galleria Borghese, and the Vatican museums—you’ll stroll right in past the massive queues.

Is there a better way of staying in Rome than Casa Visconti ?? Well the answer is NO WAY. Located in a quiet street in the Prati district a few minutes from the Vatican and all the other Monuments that are a must see in Rome. After a busy day of visiting this historic city ,it was such a pleasure to return to our quiet treeline street and cosy appartement. We had the pleasure of staying in the San Pietro apt.was just perfect for our needs.Clean and comfortable ...just like home away from home.. 2 blocks away is the best shopping on Cola de Rienzo the best in all of Rome. Good restaurants around the side streets and the sense of security that we all look for on our vacations. I highly recommend Casa Visconti for a secure,safe and most enjoyable stay in Rome.Our thanks to Giovanni for receiving us like royalty.

Pour notre 3ème séjour romain, nous cherchions un endroit calme mais proche du centre historique. Notre choix ne pouvait être meilleur. L'appartement de Giovanni est remarquablement bien situé, à quelques mètres des stations de bus. Il est vaste, confortable et parfaitement entretenu. C'est une adresse à recommander chaleureusement.

Mit Herrn Giovanni Becherini hat man den vermutlich einen oder den liebenswerten und hilfsbereitesten aller Römer getroffen. Die Wohnung lässt an Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Charme nichts zu wünschen übrig. Alleine das Wlan schwächelt bei Notebooks, nicht bei Handys, aber das ist in Rom ja wohl da kleinste Übel- Fluglotsenstreik, Sr. Giovanni ist unendlich bemüht weiter zu helfen. Die Lage ist Rom pur, Feinkost vom Feinsten nebenan, und folgt man den Empfehlungen von Sr. Giovanni, findet man auch ein wunderbares römisches Restaurant in der Nähe, vielen Dank Giovanni!

Já visitei Roma várias vezes e posso dizer que minha estadia no apartamento na Casa Visconti foi a melhor de todas até o momento. O valor da diária é praticamente o mesmo de um hotel categoria 3 estrelas em áreas turísticas da cidade mas com o diferencial que ao contrário de um hotel você tem a seu dispor um apartamento completo com cozinha, quarto, sala e banheiro possibilitando assim um ambiente de privacidade, independência e muita comodidade já que se torna possível o preparo de refeições rápidas. O local onde se encontra Casa Visconti é bem centralizado e próximo das principais atrações turísticas de Roma sendo possível a partir de uma caminhada visitar o Vaticano, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Spagna, Piazza del Popolo etc. A estação de metro Lepanto se encontra a 10 minutos a pé do apartamento caso o visitante deseje visitar areas um pouco mais distantes da cidade. Nas imediações existem varios mercados, açougues, padarias, cafes, restaurantes e pizzerias e inclusive um pub. O apartamento é grande, muito limpo e completamente equipado facilmente acessível do aeroporto de Fiumicino ou Ciampino através do serviço Sitbus shuttle. Giovanni é uma pessoa muito prestativa e muito amigável, está sempre pronto para ajudar no que for necessário e fornece muitas informações sobre o comércio próximo ao apartamento bem como o modo de se chegar às principais atracões turísticas que se encontram nas imediações. Por tudo o que encontrei e pela simpatia e presteza do Giovanni não tenho dúvida que este será o local onde desejarei me hospedar a próxima vez que visitar a cidade eterna.

My husband and I were to Roma for a week, we stayed in casa Visconti at the end of November 2014. The apartment was very nice; one big bedroom, the apartment comes completely furnished with all the kitchen equipments, beds and is very clean. The building is conveniently located near to the Vatican, grocery store, shopping and public transportation. One of the best part, was the owner Giovanni, he was very kind and helpful, he made all of the arrangement in order to pick up us at the airport. He was always in touch with us from the moment we were arranging the apartment rent to our arrival, and even during our stay he was in contact with us. We would like to express our gratitude to you all for the excellent way that you helped us with the arrangements. We are going to stay in your apartment again, hopefully soon. The condo was in excellent condition and extremely clean; it is located within 25 minutes walking distance to all the sights and shopping (food, clothing & souvenir's). A neighborhood gem!! Giovanni was an excellent host and pointed out every thing we needed to know to enjoy our stay. I had to leave a day early and at 11pm Giovanni was able to arrange for our car to pick us up the next morning at 7am and was very pleasant about the situation. I had my teenage granddaughter with me and she loved everything. The only thing you should know is that there are few English speaking channels so download or take movies with you if you must watch TV there is a DVD player for your use; however I watched many shows that spoke in Italian and enjoyed them. And last but not least the price was a steal..... I will definitely stay here again when ever I am in Rome.

You could not ask for a better base from which to explore Rome! This apartment is just a 15 min walk from the Vatican, Plaza Navorna and the Pantheon! There are also several very good restaurants just a few minutes walk, or less, from the door. It was well equipped with all the necessities, laundry detergent, dish washing soap etc. Giovanni was VERY responsive to any questions we had prior, arranged our transportation from the airport, met us upon arrival, explained how to get to major attractions and prompt upon our exit.

We have visited Rome at the end of September. For the visit we have arranged an apartment Casa Visconti. The apartment location is perfect as most of the historical landmarks are nearby. There are mass transportation connections close to the apartment. Bus lines 70 and 87 were the one we used most. There are tons of restaurants, pizza places and grocery stores close to the apartment. If you are travelling by car, there are lots of underground paid parking lots around. The apartment has balcony, it is spacious and lighted, clean with big rooms and bathroom. We didn’t miss anything we need. It is located on the 4th floor of the building with a door-keeper and lift. The owner Giovanni was very helpful and kind. He was in a big help from the moment we were arranging the apartment rent to our arrival, and even during our stay he was in contact with us. Thank you Giovanni! We going to choose Casa Visconti again on our next visit to Rome.

Giovanni was very responsive during our communications. We met him at the apartment and he showed us around – and also gave us a quick overview of the area and where to find major attractions and public transportation. The apartment is about five or six blocks from a bus/train line, which is about a 5–10 minute walk. Still, we ended up walking to most of the places we went and it was a good location for this. It was nice to come home in the evening, open the windows, and hear the street sounds from the cafe, cars, and people below. Or, join the other Romans and tourists for an evening walk around the neighborhood after getting some gelato. If we ever get the chance to come back to Rome, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Io e mio fratello abbiamo passato un'intera settimana in casa Visconti nel pieno mese di agosto. L'appartamento è antico ma pulitissimo (ci tengono e si vede) e ben mantenuto in ogni singola struttura ed impianto. Si noti che è dotato di ogni comodità compresi i climatizzatori (fondamentali in agosto dopo una giornata nei fori imperiali sotto il sole rovente) e servito da supermercato, fruttivendolo, trattoria, pizzeria ed altri servizi nell'arco di 50 m. Il proprietario Giovanni è gentilissimo e vi consiglierà per il meglio. Evidenzio il luogo strategico che permette di raggiungere tramite la metropolitana qualunque punto di interesse di Roma in max 30 minuti e la logistica è tutto per un turista! Inoltre nelle vicinanze ci sono molti locali, osterie e gelaterie segnalate dalle maggiori guide (come tripadvisor). Lo consiglio davvero a chiunque, l'età o gli interessi non importano in questo caso.

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks this July. It is the perfect location for a short or long stay in Rome. The area is very safe and it offers every amenity for tourists. The apartment is on the fourth floor and it is very quiet at night. It is spotlessly clean and the cleaning service half way through was greatly appreciated. Although many people recommend that it is best to walk to the many tourist attractions we found it easier to use the nearby metro. Lepanto station is just a few minutes from the apartment. If you wish to visit the Colosseum you can travel on metro line B to Circo Massimo which is near the Forum. You can get your tickets there for the Colosseum without waiting in a long queue. The Museo di Castel Sant'Angelo which is only about five minutes from the apartment is well worth a visit early on in your stay.. It has panoramic views from the ramparts which will help you get your bearings. The fruit and veg shop beside the apartment is excellent and very good value. Further up the street there is a cafe/restaurant called Brown and Co. They have a fabulous selection of cakes and pasteries.The also offer a lunch buffet for 9 euro. It has a great selection of hot and cold food. We really enjoyed our time in Casa Visconti. We would recommend it as an ideal base to explore Rome.

We had a fantastic time in Rome. The flat was wonderful; in a quiet residential area but being only a few minutes walk to the Vatican and other sights. The flat is light, airy , spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Giovanni met us and was so helpful in explaining where the shops and restaurants were nearby. He also arranged airport transfers which made the holiday experience very smooth and easy. After a long day out in the city, it was great to get back to the apartment and relax before eating out in one of the good restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend the apartment

Giovanni was a great host. He's very kind and full of helpful information. He even booked a transport for our family from the airport to the apartment. The apartment itself feels very much like home. It's a wonderful place, as you will know from the other reviews, and it is in an excellent location. We would stay here on any future trips to Rome!

All the reviews I agree with. Giovanni was the perfect host. St. Peter flat was so well equipped. We like to have some meals "at home" so it was so good to have brilliant "frutta & verdure"almost next door and a supermercato also minutes away.. Our favourite spot to eat is "La sophita" near the Vatican - close enough to walk. They have good range of gluten free food and it is always packed with big families enjoying themselves. Always a good sign. We would certainly book Casa Visconti for a longer stay next time.

Prati is a great location and Casa Visconti is in one of its better parts in terms of restaurants, cafe's and shops. Not too touristy or busy but still with plenty of life. Via Cola di Rienzo, a bustling shopping street, is nearby (Franchi deli on the strip is a standout for take-out food of the sorts my Italian mother used to make at home). Fruit shop, supermarkets and many good restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Highly recommend La Fraschetta Romanesca restaurant (54 Via Tacito), just around the corner with authentic roman food and great service. Giovanni is a wonderful host and fantastic to deal with in terms of bookings, directions, detailed information etc. We highly recommend.

Eine ganz tolle Wohnung - sehr zentral - sehr gut geschnitten, hell, hohe Decken und sehr ruhig. Auf dem Balkon konnten wir die Sonne genießen. Suielen Dank Giovanni - wenn wir wieder einmal nach Rom kommen, dann in diese Wohnung !

Caro Giovanni, was können wir noch sagen, was all die anderen rundum zufriedenen Gäste nicht auch schon beschrieben hätten... Eine ausgesprochen saubere, im besten Sinne "großbürgerliche" Wohnung mit wunderbar ausreichend Platz für ein Paar; idealer Ausgangspunkt für ALLE Touren in Rom (Bus, Fußrouten, Metro...), in der Nähe alle Geschäfte, Bars, Pizzerien, (sizilianische) Leckereien, Vinotheken... Und dabei noch in einer ruhigen, sicheren, sehr guten Ecke Roms, direkt hinter dem höchsten Gerichtshof Italiens. Außergewöhnlich war für uns der Kontakt zu Giovanni, dem Vermieter, der unglaublich freundlich die besten Tipps zur Hand hatte, sich wirklich kümmerte und einfach rundum sympathisch und kompetent war - zum Beispiel war der Tipp mit der BUS-SIT- Anreise zur Wohnung vom Flughafen aus für uns sehr nützlich. Die Heizung hat uns ein paar doch recht frische Tage (und Nächte) prima Dienste geleistet; auch die sonstige Ausstattung ist sehr gut (Fön, Adapter, Spül- und Waschmaschine, Bügelbrett etc.) Unser Favorit in diesem alten, wohlbestellten Palazzo aber war der wunderschöne Fahrstuhl - wie im Film. Die ein oder andere Fahrt mit ihm haben wir gerne ausgedehnt ;-)) Die Münzen im Trevi-Brunnen sind Garant dafür, dass wir wiederkommen - und dann wieder in diese Wohnung.

D'abord, l'accueil est chaleureux, les échanges de mails très clairs et il n'y a pas de mauvaise surprise. Ensuite, l'appartement est confortable et bien équipé, très propre et très calme. Idéal pour se relaxer après une longue journée de visites. De plus, il est très bien situé. De l'aéroport, il est idéalement desservi par SITbus. Nous sommes allés à pied dans tous les lieux touristiques. Mais il est juste à l'écart des sentiers battus et les commerces proches sont de bien meilleur rapport qualité/prix que dans les quartiers vraiment touristiques. Enfin, comme nous repartions très tôt, le propriétaire a fait le contrôle d'usage après notre départ et nous a renvoyé notre chèque de caution par courrier. Vous pouvez y aller en toute confiance !

Giovanni met us and gave us a good introduction to the apartment and the neighbourhood. The apartment was spacious, clean and in very good condition, quiet, light and warm. Very good bathroom and comfortable bed though the pillows were a little hard for us. The kitchen area was adequate. The heating if anything too hot for us but all the windows opened for plenty of fresh air. We felt very secure. The neighbours in the building are quiet. Two three good restaurants close by and food shops all within 5 minutes walk. The metro is close and the centre can be reached easily on foot or by metro. Very easy to make booking and Giovanni arranged for us to be met by car at the airport.

Io e mio marito più i nostri due bimbi di 3 anni e 11 mesi abbiamo soggiornato in casa Visconti, appartamento San Pietro, due notti a fine dicembre. L'immobile è antico, bellissimo e ben curato; l'appartamento è caldo, comodo ed accogliente, la pulizia impeccabile, ben dotato di ogni comodità, che per una famiglia con bimbi piccoli è fondamentale. Ben servito da ogni tipo di attività commerciale, dal supermercato alla farmacia, al fruttivendolo, al bar, alla pizzeria... Il proprietario, il signor Giovanni, una persona gentilissima e disponibile. Abbiamo parcheggiato di fronte all'appartamento senza pagare alcun costo e non abbiamo più spostato l'auto fino alla partenza, perchè in 5 minuti si arriva dovunque. Siamo usciti sempre a piedi con due passeggini perchè le distanze sono davvero brevi e abbiamo visitato questa città meravigliosa. Insomma cos'altro dire... E' stato davvero un soggiorno piacevole sotto tutti i punti di vista e quando torneremo a Roma, sapremo già dove andare.

L'appartement est très agréable et se trouve dans un emplacement très stratégique pour rayonner autour à pieds. En effet, de nombreux sites et monuments incontournables de Rome sont situés non loin de l'appartement comme le château Saint Ange, la Cité du Vatican, le Panthéon etc... L'arrêt de métro Lepanto se trouve également à 5 minutes à pieds et permet de rejoindre notamment le sud de la ville. Le confort de l'appartement est d'un bon niveau avec une cuisine équipée, un grand lit très agréable dans la chambre à coucher etc. Un ascenseur permet de rejoindre le 4e étage. Il y a aussi le réseau sans fil Wifi pour accéder à internet! Enfin, je dirais que l'accueil de Giovanni le propriétaire a été remarquable, ses explications et conseils pour débuter le séjour ont été à la fois clairs et efficace. J'ai trouvé un appartement dans un parfait état de propreté en arrivant et j'ai grandement apprécié la disponibilité et la discrétion de Giovanni. Je recommanderais à quiconque de louer cet appartement pour une visite de la Ville Eternelle tant pour le confort qu'il propose que pour son emplacement hautement stratégique.

O apartamento é confortável, claro (de frente no 4º andar), espaçoso e ventilado. O quarto tem um grande armário. E importante: o edifício dispõe de elevador - importante para conduzir as malas. Todas as peças são amplas, incluindo o banheiro. Nas imediações há comércio de padaria, e um mini supermercado. A localização do apartamento é ideal, entre o Vaticano e a zona central de Roma. O metrô (estação Lepanto) fica a sete quarteirões de distância, e há linhas de ônibus nas redondezas, em dois quarteirões. Sugiro adquirir um passe de transporte público ilimitado, para metrô e ônibus (adquirimos por sete dias), que propiciou maior mobilidade, com a integração entre eles, para ir a qualquer lugar da cidade. A cama king size do quarto de dormir foi confortável, do mesmo modo os travesseiros. Também a iluminação do apartamento é boa, com lâmpadas de boa potência. O proprietário é uma pessoa muito agradável, disponível para qualquer ajuda de informações turísticas. Contratamos seu serviço para os transfer aeroporto-apto-aeroporto por um valor similar aos taxis de rua, sendo que ele nos conduziu durante a madrugada quando de nossa saída. Voltaremos a esse apartamento, com certeza, quando de nossa próxima visita a Roma.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Visconti for three nights at the end of October 2013. It was an excellent experience. Checking in and out was very smooth. Giovanni was very warm and welcoming. He met us at the apartment, told us about the area and gave us a map and an excellent restaurant recommendation. The apartment is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. You will have everything you need and more! The location is also very good and in a very safe neighbourhood, much quieter than other areas of Rome. Après plusieurs échanges de mails très détailles, nous avons passé 4 jours à Rome, soit 3 nuits dans ce grand appartement situé au 4ème étage d'un immeuble ancien et de qualité. Il se trouve à environ 10 minutes du Vatican et de la piazza del Popolo et à 20 minutes de nombreux sites (parc Borghèse, piazza Navona,...) ce qui nous a permis de tout visiter à pied. Le propriétaire Giovanni nous a chaleureusement accueillis dans un excellent anglais et donné les premiers conseils pour la restauration, le supermaché du quartier, la visite des monuments et donné un plan de la ville... L'immeuble est très calme et équipé d'un ascenseur, l'appartement spacieux et très propre, la literie est excellente pour le lit double. Aucun souci avec le contrat et les conditions très claires de location. Séjour très agréable, c'est une adresse que nous allons donner sans hésitation à nos amis.

My husband and I spent the rome part of our honeymoon in this apartment, and were so impressed! The building is so charming, and in such a great spot. Giovanni was so helpful with arranging for our transport and recommending a wonderful restaurant nearby. the apartment is spacious and comfortable, with all the modern ammenities and very secure.. We would happily recommend this rental to anyone.

We were very impressed with the location and the apartment in general, it was even better than the photos and had a great feel to it. We walked everywhere so the location was great. Giovanni was fantastic too, very helpful and nothing was too much for him. We would definately stay there again and would highly recommend it.

We spent one week from 23 August till 30 August . The welcome from Giovanni the owner was fantastic . Very Polite person . He gives you GREAT advice , good place to buy typical italian food . As for us , we could not connect to internet , i sent a message and the same day at night he came to fix it . The service from him was EXCELLENT . As for the flat itselt , it was VERY clean ( and trust me because i am very very serious about this ) . It has a well equiped Kitchen . The rooms was spacious , shower room was spacious too . Living room has a small balcony from which you can see st peters dome . In opposite on the flat , there are only office, so as you are never here in the day , at night , it is very calm .Air conditioned in both rooms . As from location , belive me its the best you can get in Roma . The surroundings , is very calm ( you get plenty of embassies ) Very SAFE , Not in the touristic animation but still in the centre near EVERYTHING . (10 mins walk from Vatican , 10-15 mins walk to Piazza Navona same to Piazza Spagna ) 2 minutes walk from the beautiful piazza Cavour . Spar and simply market is 3-4 minutes from the flat , Bakery next to spar . Restaurant in the next street . So my conclusion , is Why do you want to rent a Hotel? For the same price , you will get , Bigger room , Better location , Cleaner romm and better facilities and a WONDERFUL welcome from Giovanni . Last thing , on our departure day , our Flight was VERY early so Giovanni came to do the check out , and then he personally drove us back to the Airport . Here it is , Thank you again Giovanni to make our stay sooo comfortable , and I hope to see you soon when we come back to Roma.

For the second visit to Rome we decided to stay at Casa Visconti in the Prati district. Prati is a quiet district with stately houses near the Vatican. We enjoyed our stay at Casa Visconti very much. The apartment is exactly as described and is very well maintained and clean. In de neighborhood you will find 2 supermarkets (a small one nearby at Via Tacito and an bigger one at Via Cola di Rienzo). There are also a few good restaurants in the neighborhood. The tourist attractions Castel Sant’Angelo, Vatican, Piazza del Popolo and Villa Borghese, Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori are at walking distance. Other tourist attractions are within easy reach by metro (station Lepanto is nearby) or bus. All correspondence with the owner Giovanni prior and during the visit was excellent. He is very helpful and we were given a friendly welcome with useful advice upon arrival. We had a great time in Rome and we recommend the apartment to everybody.

The apartment was very well maintained.. We stayed there for three nights with our baby who was 11 months old at the time. Giovanni and Romeo were very helpful even gave us wonderful tips about where to eat and what to explore. It's a beautiful city and living here made it even more pleasant, just ten minutes walk from the Vatican and Paizza Navona. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Just returned from Casa Visconti and missing it already! We had a delightful stay here for three nights. The apartment was exactly as described; very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It was the perfect base from which to explore Rome - we walked to many sites or used the nearby Lepanto metro station - but it is not so central that you are surrounded by tourists. The apartment was lovely and peaceful - just what was needed after a long day of sight seeing. The surrounding shops, cafes and restaurants are wonderful; try the lovely fruit shop and Brown's cafe for coffee and cakes. Giovanni was very professional and friendly throughout the booking process and on arrival - thank you very much. If we are lucky enough to return to Rome, we will stay here again - a delight.

My wife and I stayed in this apartment for 1 week and thought it was first-class and would thoroughly recommend it. The facilities were as advertised and the rooms were spotless and looked just as the photos in the holiday-rentals web page. The rooms are spacious and bright with high ceilings and the double-bed comfortable. The wi-fi worked great. Only watched the TV for a few minutes - too busy being a tourist. The apartment block is well-maintained and clean inside with a lovely entrance foyer and wide stairs that wrap around a cage-style lift. My wife was taken with the little bench seat in the lift! The area felt very safe and with the apartment on the fourth floor and with the double-glazed windows there is hardly any noise in the apartment from the street level. There are plenty of stores close by for buying whatever you need and plenty of places to eat out. We liked the location. Its quite quiet, not in the heart of the main tourist area so its not mobbed with people but its close enough that its very easy to walk to many of the main tourist attractions. We didnt use any buses but used the Metro (Lepanto station) on several occasions (good for getting to the Colosseum); its only a few minutes walk. The correspondence with the owner Giovanni prior and during the visit was first-rate, very helpful and quick to respond. We were met at the apartment on arrival and given a friendly welcome with useful advice. We had a great time in Rome and the apartment played a big part in that enjoyment.

From the very first communication, the owner, Giovanni, could not have been more helpful. His apartment was a delightful slice of 'downtown' Rome with high ceilings and large windows, serviced by a fantastic wooden elevator from the early twenthieth century. Internally everything was modern, very clean and definitately comfortable. It was a plaesure to deal with Giovanni and we would have no hesitation in returning to his apartment in the future.

We had an excellent stay at Casa Visconti for three nights in April 2013. Giovanni and Paola were a delight to deal with during the booking process and right up to when we left. Romeo, who we met when we arrived in Rome and who did the check-in/out, was very kind and helpful. The apartment is spacious, clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. It's located in a great neighbourhood - Prati. We walked everywhere from here: the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum (this is the furthest but was still only about 20-25 minutes), etc. The area was perfect for us as it was quiet, but safe, and there are several great restaurants within walking distance (Siu & Giu and Il Belli were our favorite). There are many businesses nearby, which is why it's quiet at night, and not very touristy (which we love! so nice to get away from big groups of tourists at the end of the day!). Mein Freund und ich haben im Frühjahr eine Woche in dieser Ferienwohnung in Rom verbracht. Die Wohnung sieht exakt so aus wie auf den Fotos. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern und auch die Übergabe der Wohnung der Wohnung durch einen englisch sprechenden Mitarbeiter klappte auch problemlos. Zudem gab es von diesem noch einige Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten, Nahverkehr und ähnliches. Die Wohnung liegt in der Nähe einer Metrostation und es gibt auch mehrere Bushaltestellen in der Nähe. Der Vatikan ist in circa 10-15 Minuten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zwei Supermärkte sind auch in direkter Nähe, so dass man sich problemlos mit Lebensmitteln und allem, was man sonst noch braucht versorgen kann. Wir werden die Wohnung Freunden weiterempfehlen und würden auch selbst nocheinmal dort wohnen, wenn wir nochmal nach Rom fahren sollten.

We had an excellent stay at Casa Visconti for three nights in April 2013. Giovanni and Paola were a delight to deal with during the booking process and right up to when we left. An excellent apartment at a very convenient location. We appreciated the spaciousness of the apartment since we stayed for over a month. It was very clean (always my top priority!) and well looked after by the weekly maid. We loved the location: away from the noise and crowds but in walking distance to many intriguing areas. It has a large bathroom, always a great treat in a European apartment. And best of all, the apartment manager drove us to the train station when we left! Would recommend to any visitor to Rome.

Die Casa Visconti ist unweit der Engelsburg, also sehr zentrumsnah, dabei aber zugleich sehr ruhig gelegen. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist komfortabel und so angenehm (beheizbar!), daß man einen Schlechtwettertag gerne auch mal in der Wohnung verbringt. Die Küchenzeile ist so ausgestattet, daß man sehr gut in der Wohnung kochen kann. Die Vermieter Paola und Giovanni sind ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und freundlich in jedem Kontakt per E-Mail; wir fühlten uns bestens betreut. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich zwei Supermärkte sowie diverse kleinere Lebensmittelhändler, bei denen man alles für einen gelungenen Abend erweben kann. In jedem Fall würden wir das Domizil unseren Freunden empfehlen. Fazit: Ein fantastischer Ausgangspunkt für eine gelungene Romreise.

Casa Visconti is a great place to discover Rome. It is very close to the Vatican and to the centre of Rome; all major sights can be reached by foot. Nevertheless, the appartment is situated in a calm area. The landlords, Paola and Giovanni, are very kind and respond very quickly to any request. The appartment is only a few steps away from the next grocery shops, bakeries, and also pharmacies. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the appartment is neat and tidy. In short: We very much enjoyed our stay and like like to thank Paola and Giovanni very much. (And many thanks to Romeo too!)

Nous avons passé 4 nuits/5 jours à Rome à La Casa Visconti. Nous avons auparavent contacté le propiétaire Giovanni et le premier contact était rassurant. Personne charmante. Accueil par Roméo super accueil également et personne qui n'est pas avare de renseignements. Les photos étaient conformes à la réalité. Super appartement très bien situé (près du Vatican, de la Place Cavour et de la Place Navone). Nous avons tous visité à pied (jusqu'au Colisée). Rome se visite à pied... Nous retournerons sans problème à Rome et si possible à La Casa Visconti. Nous sommes Ravis

Siamo stati molto soddisfatti del soggiorno a Casa Visconti San Pietro. La casa e' grande, comoda, confortevole, attrezzata, bella, ben servita dai mezzi e vicino a negozi e ristoranti. Proprietari gentili e disponibili, nessun feedback negativo. Consigliatissimo anche con bimbi piccoli.

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in der Casa Visconti. Von Giovanni wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Bereits das Reservationsprozedere klappte sehr gut und war professionell und unterstützend. Die Angaben auf der Home-Page sind ausgezeichnet und sehr autentisch. Die Wohnung ist ideal, ruhig und zentral gelegen. Der Airport-Shuttle-Bus hält fast um die Ecke. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar, gute Lebensmittelläden, Restaurants, Take Aways sowie viele andere ausgezeichnete Geschäfte sind in der nahen Umgebung. Dazu gehört auch ein grosser Markt in einer Markthalle. Das Quartier gehört zu den bevorzugteren von Rom. Die Wohnung im 4. Stock mit Lift ist grosszügig und hell, die Zimmer sowie Bad und Küche sind sehr sauber und für eine Ferienwohnung sehr gut und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Man kann sich in dieser Wohnung wirklich zu Hause fühlen. Bei einem weiteren Romaufenthalt werden wir bestimmt wieder hier wohnen, wir können das Apartement auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Die Vermieter sind äusserst sympathisch, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. älteres Ehepaar aus Luzern, Schweiz.

Wir durften zu dritt ein unvergessliches Wochenende in diesem Appartement verbringen. Die Lage war perfekt, da man zu Fuß fast alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen konnte. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Die Beschreibung in Internet entsprach der Realität, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut und sowohl der Vermieter als auch sein Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch die Buchung der Wohnung war recht unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Empfehlenswert für alle, die Rom in ungezwungener Atmosphäre besichtigen möchten.

Hemos pasado 5 días con mis hijos de 10 y 14 años en este apartamento y ha sido todo un acierto, el barrio es muy tranquilo y a la vez cerca de todo, apenas necesitamos transporte publico. Contratamos a Romeo para los traslados que ademas nos abrió la casa y nos contó no solo donde estaba todo en esa zona ( donde comer, comprar, metro etc...) ademas nos ayudó con algunos trucos sobre la ciudad y todo en un perfecto español. En cuanto a los dueños aunque no los hemos llegado ha ver siempre están muy atentos a los correos y cualquier duda te la resuelven enseguida.

This place is excellent! The location and the amenities are great, you have everything you may need in the apartment. The owner, Giovanni, is very helpful at all times with any information you may need (he even sent us some good restaurant recommendations in the area). Also Romeo is a gem too, as he was very friendly and informed us about anything we needed to know about the area, what to do, what to avoid (you know.. tourist traps), where to eat, helped us with some train tickets and so on. I'd highly recommend also booking the airport pick-up by Romeo, which will save you time or troubles in reaching the address. The location is great for Rome, close enough to everything. Metro line is close by, but you can also walk on foot if you like. The apartment is very spacious, enough for 4 people. The bedding is luminous, very comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom have anything you need (including dishwasher liquid, which i didn't see in other places). You have A/C and wi/fi. Everything is as advertised or even better. I would highly recommend it to anyone who'd wish to visit Rome and feel a bit of the Roman spirit. Thank you, Casa Visconti, for everything!

Très bon accueil et grande disponibilité de nos hôtes. L'appartement est très bien : hauteur de plafond appréciée, air conditionné, espace, luminosité, bien équipé : photos très fidèles. Quartier très calme, pas de bruit la nuit après une journée de marche... Accès facile à pied (15 mn) des premiers sites à visiter (Place St Pierre, Castel San Angelo, Piazza del Popolo, le jardin Borghese). Différents transports en commun proches de l'appartement, permettant l'accès facile à de nombreux autres sites (Panthéon, Colisée, Balisique Santa Maria Maggiore, Saint Jean de Latran, ...). L'accès facile à l'appartement depuis l'aéroport par le Shuttle bus (station après le Terminal 3) qui vous dépose à Piazza Cavour (5 mn), idéal également pour le retour. En conclusion, cet appartement est un excellent choix pour visiter Rome, ville magnifique.

We stayed at Casa Visconti with our 2 young children this summer and we can strongly recommend it. It is very well situated, near St. Peter’s on the west side of the city, but also within walking distance of the city centre and all of the main attractions. There are a number of shops nearby, so you will not be short of supplies. Giovanni is an excellent host, who took the time to show us around the apartment and also the best routes in and around the city. He has very good English (which is very useful when, like us, you only know the basics of Italian). The apartment was very clean and large enough for the 4 of us. There is also a small balcony, where you can watch the Roman street life beneath you while also enjoying a view of the dome of St. Peter’s. We had a lovely visit to Rome and having an apartment of this quality at a great price helped to make it so. We would have no hesitation in trying to book here again.

Appartamento situato in ottima posizione, vicinissimo al Vaticano e al centro, 5 minuti di strada, ottimamente servito da tutti i servizi, l'automobile e' inutile, e'a ridosso della via Cola di Rienzo, celebre via dello shopping, l'appartamento e' spazioso e luminoso e pulito, ottimo per famiglie, o gruppo di amici. Gentilissimo e disponibile il propretario, direi proprio un cinque stelle. (Soggiorno tre persone mese di luglio 2012).

We loved our stay at Casa Visconti - St. Peter in July. The apartment is very well equipped, everything is exactly as described in the website. It is charming, has so much character, it is very comfortable and clean. We stayed with our 2 teenage children (they much appreciated the wi-fi!). It is located in a quiet neighbourhood close to everything! All kinds of stores, the Vatican and the Old City within ten minutes of walking! You can also get to a Metro or bus station within five minutes. Giovanni, the owner was very friendly and helpful with everything and he gave us as much information as possible. We would rent this apartment again the next time we visit Rome.

Abbiamo adorato il nostro soggiorno a Casa Visconti, San Pietro, in luglio. L'appartamento è ben equipaggiato, tutto è esattamente come descritto sul sito web. È incantevole, ha così tanto carattere, è molto confortevole e pulito. Noi abbiamo soggiornato con i nostri due figli adolescenti (hanno apprezzato moltissimo il Wi-Fi!) È situato in un quartiere tranquillo vicino a tutto! Tutti i tipi di negozi, il Vaticano e il centro storico è a soli dieci minuti a piedi! C'è anche una fermata della metro o degli autobus a cinque minuti. Giovanni, il proprietario era molto amichevole e disponibile per tutto e ci ha fornito quante più informazioni possibili. La prossima volta che visiteremo Roma, affitteremo nuovamente questo appartamento.

It was great first time in Rome and it was really pleasant stay at San Pietro apartment! Advantages: ! Easy booking ! Fast transfer from Fiumicino to Piazza Cavour by shuttle bus (only few steps to intersection of Via Tacito and Via Visconti) ! Red carpet on entrance :-) ! Kindest and helpful greeting by Romeo ! Total comfortable ! Elegant interior ! nice, light, air, hight, volume ! Respectable surrounding of Prati district ! Strategic location (main city attractions and power places within walking distance) ! Flexible occupancy ! Lepanto subway in vicinity ! Supermarket Despar in vicinity. Everything about the apartment was delightful...from the reception meeting with Romeo who helped us become acclamated to the apartment and the durroundings to our final checkout meeting with the property owner who could not have been more gracious and kind. The rooms were immaculately prepared by a rather fastidious maid who cleaned every square inch of the apartment, the location allowed us to walk to each and every scenic and historic area of Roma...and to catch a bus if our feet became weary...as many buses lead to our central area at Piazza Cavour (which is in the process of getting it's own Metro subway station in a year or so. On a slightly negative note, in the interest of balance and fairness, there is a pub four stories below the apartment creating a bit of excess noise on weekend nights...close the windows or bring an earplug set and you will be blessed with a good night's sleep and the best value in Rome apartments there is to find in the city....clean, attactive, efficient, all the amenities and the best care to be provided by Romeo and the property owner!

We stayed in this excellent apartment for 5 nights (with my husband and my 7 year old daughter). It's a clean, well maintained and spacious apartment. It's exactly the same as described and seen on the photos. The location is perfect. Everything is walking distance. We never took a bus or metro, we went everywhere by walking. There're lots of shopping facilities around the apartment There're 2 supermarkets in walking distance (3 min.) There's a grocery selling fruits and vegetables just around the corner. There're lots of restaurants nearby. The district is 100% safe, you can even walk at nights. Romeo, the coordinator, speaks English very well and he's very helpful (many thanks to him!) I would definetly recommend this apartment to everyone (especially to families with children).

There is nothing but praise to be found in this review of our visit of 8 nights at Casa Visconti. We were met on time by a professional and warm host Romeo who took care of our aclaimation to the apartment and to the general area. The maid had performed an extremely thorough cleaning of the entire apartment and we were good to go. Centrally located, we easily and willingly walked to every major Roma attraction and tackled the bus line layout thanks to resource materials available at the tourist informaition office. Many buses lead directly to the Casa Visconti neighborhood and you will find a Despair Supermarket within a 45 second walk to the apartment. We eventually met the owner who was exceedingly gracious. The apartment was immaculate, no scratches on the walls, fully equipped and all that you could ask for. There is, on a slightly off-key note, a pub four stories below the apartment that on several nights created some boisterous late evening noise. Shut the windows and you will be fine for a full nights rest.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We were close to shopping and attractions. The rooms were large and clean. The balcony brought much light to the apartment.The kitchen was well equipted with all essentials. If you need to be picked up at airport or train station we highly recommend Romeo who oversees the apartment. We had a slight problem with the plumbing in the bathroom and the plumber was there within the hour. The only negative point we experienced, because we were facing the street, there was some noise from the the bar across the street. Overall, this apartment is a great value and we are planning to stay there in the future.

I found Casa Visconti quite by accident as I was doing my research before my trip. I am so glad I did because Giovanni and Paola were been nothing but wonderful and welcoming. We arranged everything before we got to Rome, they made it so easy for me. Paola and Giovanni gave me many tips on getting to Rome from Florence and I thank them for being so thoughtful because when we arrived at the apartment, there was a basket with Gluten free pasta and snacks for my daughter who suffers from severe food allergies. A special thank you to Romeo who picked us up from Termini station and brought us home, helped us with our baggage, showed us where everything was, including how well located we were - and believe me when I say, the apartment is so centrally located you have the Vatican on one side and Pizza Cavour on to Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps and on to the Colosseo on the other. You cross the beautiful Tiber via a bridge and you are exactly where you want to be. We walked everywhere. Romeo was so friendly and welcoming, he brought us gluten free bread for our daughter and we really appreciated the gesture. He also took us to the airport, and it was so much fun chatting about the world. The apartment is warm and cozy, on the 4th floor, has a lovely elevator, is clean, the linen fresh and beds inviting and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated and has a lovely setting. Wifi connection was perfect. When you go outside, there is a Despar supermarket within steps, a fruit stand with fresh fruit and vegetables, a delicious pizzeria/restuarant and a tiny pizza place just past the children's store, which sells pizza by the slice, warmed in a stone oven - it was incredible. The apartment is very elegant furnished, it is fully equipped with all facilities. There are very big and light rooms, high ceilings, pictures, books. The location is perfect for travellers without car, it is very close to the city center. The apartment is very comfortable for a long stay. I will recommend this apartment to all my friends!

Our trip to Rome couldn't have been better! Just returned from Rome last week , were very happy with our accomodations.We stayed in St Peter apartment for 5 nights with our son 16 year old,and in other apt. Saint Angelo our friends. We had two rooms each of which was very nice sized. The rooms were very clean, bright, spacious and had air conditioning. The bathroom also were spacious. The apartment was very clean. All of the basics you might need are provided: microwave, TV, linens, towels, dishes and pots, some basic pantry staples such as salt, pepper, tea, oil and vinegar, even a washing machine,etc. The building was secure, and nearby were restaurants(San Marco the best), bakeries, a greengrocer, supermarket, coffee bars(Portofino was super)...everything we needed. Just a few minutes walk across the Tiber put us in easy reach of most sights, to Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trastevere , Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. The location was ideal and close to St. Peter’s Basilica or to Castello di Sant Angelo. The location was great for shopping(on Via Cola di Rienzo)and close to the metro. We truly felt at home and safe and I highly recommend the accomodations for anyone who wants to experience an independent stay in Rome. Thank you Francesca and Giovanni, we hope to visit you again!

We spent six nights here with my fiancee, and we had a great time! The location of the apartment is the best possible. Everything is walking distance, 10 min to St Peters Square, roughly an hour to Colosseo, but if we were tired, there is a metro station a couple of blocks away, and there are also several bus lines passing by round the block. The apartment itself is very spacious with high ceiling, huge bathroom, and with a view to St Peters Cathedral, from the balcony. It is on the third floor of a wonderful, massive and stylish building. There is also a doorman available through the day. The building is located in a small street, and it is just like the neighbourhood is 100% safe. Although the street is quite, take it as in Roman terms, you can easily wake up for a scooter passing by on the street in the middle of the night. There is AC in both rooms, though we did not use them even in the hottest summer days.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo trascorso una bella vacanza a Roma e siamo stati fortunati con la casa scelta: molto bella e confortevole. Posizione ideale per muoversi anche con i bambini. Pulita, silenziosa e tranquilla. Ottima anche l'accoglienza da parte dei proprietari.
