Great and very spacious apartment in a very central location We had a great time in Rome and were in the apartment with 7 person - teenagers and grandparents. The apartment had a very good size for all of us an especially the 3 bathrooms made it very relaxing.

Beautiful home with plenty of room for our family of 5. Giovanni was a very gracious host, he set up transportation to and from the airport to the whole residence. It was more economical, and provided piece of mind in an unfamiliar environment. Another plus is that is close to fantastic restaurants and cafes. I highly recommend and would stay here again! From the moment we arrived Giovanni was there to meet us, showing us the property and making sure we knew where local shops and cafes were. This property is very well maintained, it has four comfortable and spacious bedrooms, one medium and one small bathroom, a washing machine, dishwasher and nice family dining room and kitchen. It was well located and a pleasure to stay in. We had Christmas lunch here and were able to relax as a family. A pleasure.

Giovanni was the best. The accommodations were very nice and he was very extremely helpfull with directions and locations in Rome. He also arranged for our transportation to and from the airport. I highly recommend Casa Visconti.

Fantastic location. Giovanni was absolutely wonderful. He was very accommodating. Property was filled with Italian charm. Very spacious rooms. The elevator is over a hundred years old, in saying that, no air conditioning and only 3 people at a time. Not much room for luggage. Overall, I loved the fact that the apartment had 2 washing machines, so I did all my laundry before continuing on our travels. The proximity to the major sites was awesome. We were 17 minutes to the Trevi Fountain, 15 minutes to the Vatican. I definitely would return.

We really enjoyed our stay. Nine of us stayed there which included 5 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of space for all of us. The location is wonderful and centrally located in a nice, quiet, neighborhood. The owner, Giovanni, is very gracious and accommodating. He even helped us schedule transportation to the condo from our cruise ship and to the airport when we left. It made our short time in Rome less stressful. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here and would stay here myself again in the future.

Casa Visconti was a perfect place for us. We were a multigenerational family with teenagers. The apartment gave us plenty of room to relax after a long day of exploring. Most places are east to get to and you can walk if you are up to it. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family had the pleasure to stay at Casa Visconti and everything about this experience deserves 5 stars. Our host, Giovanni was the perfect host from meeting us at the property, arranging private transportation for us from the train station and to the airport and recommending restaurants including the best pizza and gelato we had while in Rome. The apartment is divided into three separate suites each having its own bathroom and there is also a separate living room with a pull-out sofa which can serve as a fourth bedroom. The apartment has a big kitchen with a dining table and is fully furnished with dishes, cutlery and pots. The location is within walking distance to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon and a short cab ride to the Colosseum, Borghese Gardens and the Spanish Steps.

A very spacious apartment. We loved the neighborhood, it had a more authentic feel of Rome. Short walk to the Vatican and convenient to groceries and restaurants. Giovanni personally welcomed us and made sure we had a great check-in experience. We highly recommend this rental.

Large bedrooms, good location and close to famous sites and public transport.

We could have not asked for anything better. This apartment is spacious and in the perfect location - great neighborhood with grocery and restaurants, walking distance to Spanish steps and other sights as well as the Vatican. The property manager (Giovanni) was terrific. Very welcoming when I arrived by myself the night before my friends. And when I left a few items behind, he went above and beyond to help me get them back. I wouldn't stay or recommend anywhere else. This is the best.

Location was in a good/safe neighborhood and walkable to a number of locations. Apartment was clean and Giovanni’s was easy to work with.

Our family of 6 enjoyed these accommodations. It had everything we needed. Also very close to shopping, dining and site seeing. Location is great. Only a 15 minute walk from the Vatican. Giovanni is a fantastic host. He even helped us with transportation to the airport which worked out great. Highly recommend this apartment!

Giovanni’s Casa Visconti was a perfect place for my adult family of five. The kitchen is large enough for a sofa, large eating table and a food preparation area. There’s also a living space where we played cards and games. Of course, the three bedrooms and three bathrooms made it easy to rest after our long days of walking tours. Our next time in Rome, I hope Casa Visconti is available. Giovanni’s communication was above and beyond helpful. It is obvious that the comfort of his guests is a priority. He arranged a private shuttle from the airport, allowed us to drop off our suitcases with early arrival, and suggested nearby dining places. The location of Casa Visconti is another plus. We had easy access to the train station, grocery stores and all of our tour locations.

This apartment was perfect for our needs, a party of 6 adults. We enjoyed our stay, and the central location. The owner, Giovanni, was very attentive, and helpful, making our Rome stay everything we hoped it it would be. He accommodated our schedule and even helped arrange some “difficult to obtain reservations.”

Casa Visconti was perfect for our group. Our host Giovanni met us upon arrival, assisted with arranging transportation to the airport prior to our departure, and texted to ensure we had all we needed. He responded to any communication we sent in a timely and helpful manner. The apartment (we had both sides) was beautiful and beyond our expectations. It was located in a neighborhood with shopping, tourist landmarks, and restaurants easily within walking distance. We had no complaints and would happily book with them again!

... (part 2 of 2) Our arrival was complicated as three groups were meeting up. He met one of us in person for check in and arranged airport transportation for the others. The only challenge we had was one of the drivers was late. I called Giovanni via WhatsApp and he immediately responded, called the driver and helped to coordinate the meeting. The driver was very apologetic and refused to take any payment for the trip. So the bottom lines are that this apartment is a very comfortable place to stay in a nice neighborhood in a great location in Rome and the host is top rate. I highly recommend it to others!

It was hard to find a larger rental apartment in Rome at a reasonable price for our group of 6. This place worked out beautifully. It's in a nice neighborhood that is walking distance to many of the tourist sights or a short car ride. The building is well cared for, safe and has an elevator. The apartment itself is large and comfortable. It is well equipped. Your kitchen needs are covered. It has a washer, which was a huge help for us as this was a stop on a longer trip. There is plenty of space and the beds are good. The host is first rate. Communication was excellent. Giovanni reached out by message through VRBO and followed up by email and WhatsApp. There are some steps to complete that are required, like sending copies of passports and arranging to meet for check in, and he helpfully kept reminding me of what needed to be done... (part 1 of 2)

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Safe neighborhood.The location worked perfectly for sightseeing. 15 minute walk to the Vatican. 10 minute walk to the Metro. Several restaurants, banks, grocery, pharmacy etc all in a short walking distance. Manager was fantastic. He helped arrange transportation from the airport and met us at the apartment to let us in and explain everything. Was easy to communicate with during the stay and responded quickly to a minor incident that occurred. We rented both sides to the property and loved how much space there was for the eight of us. Curtains do not block light at all if you are sensitive to light when sleeping but not a huge issue. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property

Everything about our stay was perfect. It started with great communication with Giovanni. He reached out to us as soon as we booked. He explained everything and asked us if we like him to arrange transportation from the airport. We were happy to accept! The driver was waiting for us after we picked up our bags and drove us to the apartment. Giovanni was standing outside when we arrived. There was never a moment of confusion or worry which is nice after a long flight! He took us in showed us around the lovely apartment and explained things, then he left us to enjoy Rome. He did check in during the stay to make sure things were okay. I would recommend the apartment to anyone. Large, clean comfortable rooms. A great location and the perfect host!

The location of this apartment is FANTASTIC! It is within walking distance of a supermarket, delicious restaurants and major attractions in Rome. It feels safe to walk around at night. The unit was as described. I was one of three business colleagues who stayed for a full week. It was great because we each had our own spaces and with two living rooms, we could spread out as needed. Giovanni was attentive and helpful. I had a problem with the lights in one of the rooms, and he came over within 2 hours to fix the issue before it got dark. The only downside was the slow internet. It was hard having 3 people online at once working. We later learned that one of the WIFI extenders/boosters was out of the socket, which may have explained the speed issues. We were so impressed with the apartment that when my colleagues return to Italy in the spring, I think they are planning to rent from Giovanni again. I highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Rome. The apartment is spacious and very close to the Vatican. Nearly all highlights are in walking distance and the Metro station is close by.

Our stay at Casa Visconti during the holiday season was extremely pleasant and Giovanni was very Resourceful, honest and responsive. The property is in a great location that had easy access to transportation (taxi, metro, bus, etc). Most major attractions were within walking distance. The place was spacious and it was nice. Having a kitchen to be able to use was very helpful since our large family was able to enjoy some home Italian dinners cooked by us.

Die Fewo ist, mit dem Bus vom Flughafen Fiumicino kommend, in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben die Fewo mit 3 Paaren bewohnt und haben uns über die großzügige Raumaufteilung gefreut. Es ist alles Wesentliche vorhanden und die Klimaanlage ist gut eingestellt, sodass der Aufenthalt im Sommer kein Problem war. Giovanni ist ein freundlicher und entgegenkommender Vermieter, der auch gute Tipps bereit hält. Überzeugend ist auch die zentrale Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, sodass fast alles zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Wir hatten dadurch einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Rom.

Perfect spot in a non tourist location but walking distance to so many landmarks. We had two families traveling together ten total never felt cramped. Next time in Roma would only stay here!

We traveled as a family of 8 (4 adult couples) and needed a large space with several bathrooms that wasn't too far from points of interest. We thought this looked like it would meet our needs and it did not disappoint. Firstly, Giovanni could not have been a better host. He met us at the apartment and started by giving us a lay of the land - telling us where to find the supermarket, bakeries/cafes, pizza, other restaurants, etc. (all within close walking distance). Then he took us through the apartment step-by-step to be sure we understood how everything worked. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood, which was appreciated by us since we planned early morning trains for several mornings to travel to various cities around the country. The apartment was fully equipped with dishes. We did cook there one night but ate out most of the time. The nice hot showers had good water pressure. We were able to do laundry, enabling us to pack fewer clothes for the trip. The only improvement might have been to have a clothes dryer. But, thankfully, there were drying racks. You just have to plan ahead so your clothes will have enough time to dry before you need them again. We stayed for 2 weeks. As we explored, we found several supermarkets, pharmacies, quality restaurants, an EXCELLENT produce stand, and fabulous cafes all within just a few blocks of the apartment. The coffee in Italy is superb! Any time we had a question about anything, we could text or email Giovanni and he was very quick to respond. We lacked for nothing and are so appreciative that he was such a wonderful host. We walked everywhere from here.... Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Trastevere, the Jewish Ghetto, Camp di Fiori, Piazza Navonna, Borghese Park and so many other places. We walked a lot. However, the apartment was also very close to the Lepanto metro stop. The metro is very easy to learn and we got all over the place using the metro too. (Recommended for traveling to the Colosseum since that would be a long walk). You can take the Metro to Termini station to pick up high speed rail to other major cities such as Florence & Venice as well. Giovanni also arranged for a very reliable service to transport our large party (plus all our luggage) from the airport to the apartment and back (at the end of our stay). Did I already mention what a wonderful host he was? Gratzie! Ciao!

This was a great apartment in an excellent location. It easily accommodated our situation. We were traveling as two families for a total of 7 people. Having 3 bathrooms was an extra plus. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and we found the apartment to be clean. The 4 bedrooms were well spaced to give everyone privacy and the beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to the Metro and nearby bus routes. It was also a short walk to the Vatican. There were a number of excellent restaurants within a short walking distance of the apartment as well as stores for groceries and fruit. We couldn't have been happier with the apartment and would stay here again on future visits to Rome. Giovanni was awesome. He met us at the apartment and provided detailed instructions and recommendations. We had a 6AM flight on our departure and he arranged a much appreciated car to pick us up in the early morning to take us to the airport. It was 10 days of heaven. Thanks Giovanni!!!!!!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine pour découvrir Rome. L'appartement est très agréable et idéalement situé : tous les sites majeurs sont accessibles à pied. A 10 min de marche au sud, Castel San Angelo et le centre historique de Rome, à 15min de marche à l'ouest, vous êtes Place St Pierre, à 15min de marche à l'Est, vous êtes Piazza di Popolo ou au Parc de la Villa Borghèse et la station de métro Lepanto est à 10min à pied au nord. Le quartier est très calme et dispose des commerces (boulangerie, supermarché, épicerie...) et restaurants dans un très proche périmètre de l'appartement. Plusieurs parkings souterrains sont à proximité pour y stocker votre véhicule. Quant à Giovanni, il est très disponible à votre arrivée et à votre départ pour vous faciliter votre séjour. Je recommande chaudement.

What a great find! Location was perfect - short stroll across any of 3 bridges to the heart of everything you want to do in Rome. Neighbourhood was really safe & quiet with plenty of amenities close at hand such as supermarket. Giovanni was a great host - he met us at the apartment on arrival and gave us a tour. The apartment is huge! There were 8 of us in the party and we did not feel cramped in any way - would definitely book again.

Super large apartment for 5 adults/3 children with space to be together and for privacy. 3 stall showers with forceful sprays. fascinating art work. split air in all rooms. mini-mart and 2 pastry shops 2 short blocks away. excellent air conditioned restaurant offered gluten free food around the corner. ideal for visiting the Vatican. 15 minute walk to metro and 5 minute walk to major retailers, outdoor cafes and gelato places. easily located by uber. worth a repeat visit.

Casa Visconti is wonderful! It is close to transportation and many popular sites. Casa Visconti easily accommodated nine of us. Giovanni is an amazing host! He was always prompt to reply and helped in so many ways! We would go back and stay again without hesitation!

We stayed at Casa Visconti for a week with our extended family of 8 adults and 2 children. The apartment met our needs perfectly, and was an ideal base from which to explore Rome. The location is great, with several restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores in easy walking distance. It also provided easy access to our favorite sites in Rome, like the Piazza Navonna, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and others. Giovanni was extremely helpful in connecting us to some wonderful tour guides, and even made the arrangements for our transfers to and from the airport.

Casa Visconti is a very spacious 4 bedroom apartment. Giovanni, the owner is very well organized and professional. He is very helpful. The apartment is comfortably furnished in a relaxed family friendly style. It is very well maintained and clean. Its perfect for a large family or group of friends. We loved the location. Its a close walk to the Vatican and the major sites in the center. The local restaurants are good, and there is easy shopping for food or other items. Highly recommended without reservation.

Getting to the apartment could not have been easier. The SIT bus from the airport dropped us off 3 blocks from the apartment (the Vatican stop). Giovanni met us at the apartment (we were early and it was still being cleaned). We dropped our bags off, and went and had a great breakfast at one of the many eating establishments around there. The apartment itwelf was prefect for a family of 8. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and additional sleeping arrangement in the living room. The kitchen was fully furnished (except for food, which we got from the PAM store 3 blocks away). The Vatican, the Tiber river and the subway were all a 10 min walk. The Trevi fountain, Spanish steps (Scalinta di Trinita dei Monti), Villa Borghese and the Pantheon were a 20 min walk (you could take the subway if you preferred). The colosseum and Roma Terminii were a bit further, but easily reachable by subway. The apartment was clean and inviting, and you could see St. Peters basilica from a small terrace in the master bedroom. The AC worked finr (and we needed it). Would definitely recommend it

This was my first visit to Rome. I was traveling with my adult daughters and my parents. Giovanni was very helpful. The apartment is spacious and within walking distance of many restaurants and cafes as well as a market. It was a great home base for us. We had plenty of room to spread out and the three bathrooms were a plus. I would definitely stay again.

I booked to stay with family over Christmas. We wanted space and privacy but also wanted to cook Christmas lunch together; to be able to walk to the main attractions; to be in a quiet location but convenient for shops and restaurants. This seems a tall order but this apartment delivered in spades. Airport transfers were arranged by the owner, who met us when we arrived at the property. He showed us around and offered advice about where to shop for food and which restaurants to use. There is a small supermarket just 3 minutes walk away and a lot of cafés, bars and restaurants, including the usual Italian but also a very good vegetarian and, for those looking for something different, a Japanese restaurant. The only reservation I have in recommending it is that I may have difficulty booking again when we return to Rome!

Can't say enough about this VRBO. Giovanni was thoughtful, responsive and really put forth the effort to make our stay the best! The accommodations were spacious and charming. It was centrally located with easy access to sights, but off the main thoroughfare , therefore quiet. Really a charming place. I'd go back in a second!

Our party of 6 had a wonderful stay! The apartment is spacious and provided privacy for 2 families. Giovanni was a pleasure to deal with in advance and provided lots of information. He arranged our airport transfer and was there to welcome us upon arrival. Great neighborhood! He had good recommendations for restaurants, etc. The neighborhood/building felt very safe and has a doorman most of the time. We walked to the Spanish Steps, Vatican, etc. The apartment was spotless and well-appointed. We highly recommend!

Organizing our stay with Giovanni was a pleasure for me. He was so helpful and flexible host. He welcomed us already in front of his casa and he described us a bit the area and important spot arround us, which helped a lot to win the first orientation. We've been a big Group of Family and the appartment was big enough and equipped with all what you Need. Very big and comfortable rooms. From the appartment we've been able to reach every single sight seeing spot either by foot or with a Metro easily and in the evening we could enjoy the night life of Rome...this was great. Giovanni's casa is highly appreciated for a short or Long stay in Rome ;-)

We were 2 families with 5 children age 7-13 spending a couple of days sightseeing in Rome. I was already familiar with this part of town and knew that it is easy walking distance to the centre of the city but away from all the crowds. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms/kitchen areas were all of a high standard. The residence nicely separates into 2 distinct areas which suited our 2 families although the only downside is that there isn't a communal living area. We had to use the large kitchen/dining room that one person was sleeping in. This didn't matter too much as we were out all day and were happy to go to bed at the same time. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating about our friends dropping bags off early before we arrived.

We needed accommodations for an extended family of 7. A 5 night stay in a hotel was not of interest. Trip Advisor led us to Casa Visconti. We are grateful. The multiple, connected apartment complex was perfect for our needs. We were very comfortable in the apartments, with 2 kitchens. The location was within walking distance of the Vatican and other sites of interest. Subway and bus stops were nearby for other day trips. Equally important was the reliable service of our host, Giovanni. From the very first inquiry, he was thoroughly helpful and reliable. He arranged for our transportation from and to the airport. He was there when he said he would be. He recommended restaurants that met our expectations. All things considered, he was the perfect host. We recommend Casa Visconti and Giovanni without reservation. Enjoy your stay in the remarkable city of Rome.

My family and I wanted a reasonably priced accommodation in Rome, centrally located, and able to sleep five people comfortably. Casa Visconti was the perfect answer. The apartment is actually three separate apartments that are connected to each other – if the doors between them are left open, the apartment is very large and easily accommodates five (or more) people. The apartment is on the fourth floor of a 120 year old building, with a very cool interior glass enclosed elevator. The furnishings are comfortable, and there is a full kitchen/dining room in the largest apartment, and small galley kitchen that serves another connected apartment. Giovanni is the host – he arranged for a van and driver to pick us up at the airport for 60 Euro and take us directly to the apartment, where he met us and checked us in. He had many helpful suggestions for local eateries and how to get to the major sites in the city. One of the great advantages of Casa Visconti is the central location. We were able to walk to everything in central Rome from the apartment. It is about a 12 minute walk to the Vatican, and about 15-20 minutes to the Coliseum area. The subway is only a five minute walk from the hotel, so you can use that to get around the city as well. There are many good restaurants and shopping in the immediate area, and we would particularly recommend the Su & Giu Restaurant just around the corner from the entrance to the apartment building. Beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was very clean. You may want to ask for extra towels, and shampoo and body lotion bottles were not marked, so probably good to ask about those too. We thought that Casa Visconti was a very good value given the quality of the apartment furnishings and great location, and would be happy to stay there again if we went back to Rome.

We were a party of six adults and three children (14,11 and 6 years old) from New Zealand, Sweden and the UK, meeting in Rome prior to Christmas.We were all surprised that the pictures we had seen of the apartment did not do it justice. It was excellent. We had the whole apartment and had plenty of room with the three large bedrooms and three bathrooms. We used the larger kitchen and living area but were able to use both kitchens for those of us who liked to make drinks during the night. However, the beds were very comfortable. The location of the appartment meant we were able to walk to all the main attractions except for our visit to the Colosseum when we took reasonably priced, metered taxis. The owner, Giovanni, was very helpful and he was awaiting our arrival and was prompt and understanding on our departure. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment which provided a great base for our visit to the Eternal City.

We rented the entire 2 apartment complex for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The complex is modern, air conditioned & spotless. Located in upscale area with restaurants, coffee shops and stores close by. It is 6 blocks from Vatican and a 30 minute walk to every major site. Giovanni is a great and attentive host.

We stayed at the whole residence with 6 adults; my wife and I plus our 2 children and their spouses. Finding a place in Rome that is large enough to accommodate a party of adults and deliver effective privacy is very difficult. However, Casa Visconti is probably the best at delivering that ability. In the space allocated to the apartment, I cannot think of a better way of placing the bedrooms to ensure the complete privacy that we were able to get at the apartment. Renting the whole residence provided us with access to 2 kitchens, which was very useful when one couple or the other wanted to sleep in. The amenities in the apartment were good and we were able to use everything from the internet to the kitchen appliances with no problem. My one criticism would be the need to upgrade or replace the mattresses on the beds; they were all a little worn and could use replacing. But the location was wonderful for a first-time visit by some in the party and a return visit for the rest of us to the beautiful sites around Rome. Overall, we had an excellent time!!

We had a fantastic time in Rome and case Visconti just made us feel as if we were at home. Giovanni the owner is very nice and Romeo who takes care of the house was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place if you need an apartment style place in Rome. Location is also great just walking distance to the Vatican.
